Sagat Petchyindee Highlight

Must Thai highlight of the legendary Thai fighter Sagat Petchyindee. Sagat or 'Sakad' is a legendary knockout artist who fought during the 1970s and 1980s in Thailand. He won three Lumpinee titles and three Rajadamnern titles during an incredible career that saw him KO his opponent on no less than 151 occasions. Sagat is also said to be the inspiration behind the Street Fighter game character that emerged on the Sega Mega Drive in the early 1990s. Sagat's victories include wins over Kitty Sor Thanikul, Nongkhai Sor Prapatsorn, Wangwanloup Maturee, Krontee Sor Sonalan, Samart Prasanmirt, Noomthanong Suanmisakawan and Deiselnoi Chor Chanasukarn (x2). 317 fights, 266 wins, 40 losses, 11 draws. 3x Lumpinee Champion 3x Rajadamnern Champion Boxing titles: IBC champion, WBC Asian Boxing Council champion, OPBF champion.
