(FORT WORTH, Tex.) – Dollamur Sport Surfaces (Dollamur) – the world's leading manufacturer of high-performance sports flooring for martial arts, mixed martial arts, wrestling, gymnastics, cheerleading and yoga – have teamed up with three-time world champion and Olympic wrestler Adeline Gray to announce the  #MatMakeover Contest with the winning wrestling program receiving new wrestling mats or wall pads (up to $12,000 value).

Social media users are asked a simple question: “Why Does Your Wrestling Program Deserve a #MatMakeover?” Contestants can enter by submitting a photo or video via Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with a caption and #MatMakeover. Adeline Gray, U.S. Olympic wrestler and member of Dollamur’s Athlete Advisory Council, will be present during the event unveiling, taking place in early 2017.

"Dollamur embodies the Olympic spirit and helps athletes across the globe train on the safest, most durable mats in the world," says Gray. "My hope is this commitment to serving local communities will inspire the next generation of athletes."

To be considered, below are two easy ways to enter:

    1. Visit "#MatMakeover" and upload a photo or video of your wrestling organization with a caption that describes why your program deserves a #MatMakeover
    2. Post your photo or video on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with a caption and #MatMakeover

The contest begins at 12 p.m. CDT on October 10, 2016 and ends at 12 p.m. CDT on October 30, 2016. There will be a voting period from October 31, 2016 to November 8, 2016, where contestants can share their submission and solicit votes. Full details can be found HERE.

"We are thrilled to support our communities and give back to a deserving wrestling program," says Dave Rossi, Senior Vice President at Dollamur. "Dollamur’s 20th anniversary celebration is an opportunity for our company to increase awareness on the need for safe training facilities across the country, invest in our future Olympians and thank loyal customers from the past two decades.”

Earlier this year, Dollamur was named official mat supplier of USA Wrestling, utilizing the exclusive Dollamur patented Flexi-Connect™ technology, a seamless and tapeless design that vastly reduces setup time. This hassle-free feature uses built-in hook and loop connections to join wrestling mat rolls, ensuring no seam separation and providing a “no slip, just grip” surface.
